Envision and Virgin racing linked up Barefoot College to tell the inspirational story of Norma Guerra and the Solar Mamas project in Cachimbo, Mexico. The project was created by ‘Bunker’ Roy to forge a first-of-its-kind, women-centered, global network dedicated to sustainable development in every community where poverty exists. Roy built the first Women Barefoot Solar Engineers Training Centre in Tilonia, India, to teach women how to create basic solar energy systems that would given them light, and more importantly independence, in their own home.

The hidden messages of Ganga
Beyond the environmental problems facing the Ganges River in the social context of India, the Goddess Ganga represents the course of life. In Hinduism, according mythology, she descended from the sky in order to save and purify its people crossing what symbolizes a social and political artery for the country. But what is there beyond the course of the River? Past, present and the struggle for survival are intertwined in this documentary that travels cosmologically through mysteries and controversy facing one of the oldest rivers on the planet.

I started this project as a motion control reel and bit by bit it has become a personal project about the city where I live. Now, thinking in the next project, export it to different places where I have lived, such as Edinburgh, Ibiza, and Seville.
I shot near 100,000 pictures and used different techniques such as hyper lapses and 360º photography.
